Legion: The Eternal War is an MMORPG in which players create their characters, join alliances, and go to battle in a competitive environment. The fantasy world is wholly original, custom-made, and ready to transport PC gamers to a realm of magic and legend. The game will be filled with entertaining stories, rewarding progression systems, and refined mechanics. All of this is presented to produce a memorable experience highlighted by social interaction and nail-biting tension.
Legion’s combat system is a rotation of melee combat, ranged combat, and magical combat. Players equip armor, assign abilities to their hotbar, and exercise the mechanics to the best of their ability. The object of the game is strategy; if a player is proficient and tactical in their approach to combat, they should be able to take on higher-level opponents with better gear. Legion has two primary divisions of gameplay that dynamically interweave with each other: PvE and PvP. Both are unified by a distinct universal combat system allowing a new immersive experience for the players.
Player vs. Player combat is intimate and challenging. It probes many aspects of the game. Wage wars, fight political battles, forge, and destroy alliances. Planned to be as dynamic as possible, Legion also has plenty of avenues for players to compete against each other. Players can form guilds and coordinate their battles against their opposing alliances. They can take and hold castles or they can siege those held by their enemies. If they want a strict, one-vs-one dual, they can duke out their battles in the Thunderdome, where other players can observe, cheer them on, and possibly even place bets.
Players can create battering rams, siege towers, catapults, trebuchets, and various artillery to do damage to enemy castles. Each device will be player-controlled while aim and precision will be very important to win a war. As you lay waste to the enemy castle you will be able to breach the outer walls and head towards the main objective known as the Castle's Altar. Destroying this altar will allow you to win the battle and take over the enemy castle.
The humans and elves declared war against each other centuries ago but you get to choose your place and determine where you fall into the chaos. We are taking Faction vs Faction and enhancing it by placing each side a sensible distance away from each other to help drive the PvP action we’ve been searching for in an MMO. As you kill players from the enemy faction you will earn ‘Enemy Kill Points’ which can then be traded for special items and bonuses.
Reputation is the controlling force that helps us create the game with little to no restrictions on how the player can operate within our world. You can expect this game to be driven by consequence and because of this, we want to foster player reputation. Every poor choice you make will affect a reputation score that will be connected to a variety of gameplay systems. This score will help determine how you are viewed by the public and influence the benefits or penalties you face. Killing players from your alliance will affect your reputation and killing players on the opposite alliance will raise your reputation.
Make enemies or establish friendships as you siege or defend castles that will serve as a battleground for waged war. You will fight for resources, locations, and land space while using our customizable castle building system. Prepare for siege attacks, defending, and raiding to protect and claim the territory you desire. Combat and raiding will be very aggressive but we have created features to protect players against offline raiding. All sieges will be coordinated and planned for fair gameplay.
